Motivation or Resignation

I just finished a message called Motivation or Resignation, it's based upon the thought that every child of God will at some point in their lives come to a state of desperation, this is not my real concern because great things can come out of our desperation, in fact desperation is the breeding ground for miracles.
My concern is that when we come to this place of desperation that we allow it to be a source of motivation, rather than a reason for resignation.
To resign means to give up, let go, cave in, throw in the towel, quit, accept dispair.

God has promised us that in due season we will reap if we do not faint, or if we do not resign.
it is not a sin to grow tired, it is not a sin to come to a place of desperation in our faith, and it may not even be a sin to resign or give up on your promise, but it is at the very least a tragedy.

To stand on the verge of your promise land and allow the giants to keep you from ever tasting the grapes that are yours by inheritance, is a tragedy.

So as you are reading this, if you have come to this place called desperation take heart and turn it into a source of motivation for pressing into the promises of God.

Anybody can quit when it gets tough, it takes a real man or woman of God to turn their desperation into motivation for fighting through to victory.
